Theresa Ann Corle Weist

Theresa Ann Corle Weist, 52, of Breezewood, passed away on December 28, 2022 at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital. She was born on January 21, 1970 in Roaring Spring; daughter of K. Wayne and Shirley J. (Musselman) Corle. On June 13, 2009 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Everett, she was united in marriage to Roger “Butch” Weist, who survives.

Theresa received her master’s degree in education from the University of Pittsburgh. She was involved with education all of her life. Theresa served as an educator, curriculum director, science teacher, and principal. She finished her educational career as the principal of Southern Fulton Elementary School.

Theresa was an active member and council president of the Zion Lutheran Church in Everett. She was a loyal volunteer at In One Accord Ministries, Inc. (Love Inc.). Theresa enjoyed helping people, reading, beach trips to Emerald Isle, and her cats, Pooter and Tina. 

She was preceded in death by her father, K. Wayne Corle and a special grandfather-in-law, Ira Rei Weist. Surviving is her husband, Roger; mother, Shirley Corle; step-daughter, Jaime Graham (Bradley); step-son, Justin Weist (Alexis); granddaughter, Thora and another on the way; in-laws, Roger and Eleanor Weist; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on January 21, 2023 at 1:00PM at the Everett Zion Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Theresa’s name can be made to the Everett Zion Lutheran Church or the Pancreatic Cancer Research organization of your choice.
