Ronald C. Imler, 79, of Bedford, passed away on November 24, 2021 at the Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on December 21, 1941 in Roaring Spring; son of the late Glenn L. and Mary (Corle) Imler. On April 30, 1960 in Roaring Spring, he was united in marriage to Doris Irene (Dick) Imler, who survives. Ronald was a cement truck driver for New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. for 30+ years and a member of the Albright Church of the Brethren. Ronald enjoyed hunting, gardening, old tractors, and most of all, the time he spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 infant children. Surviving is his wife, Doris; son, Dale Imler (Penny) of Alexandria; daughter, Beverly Foor (Micheal) of Broad Top; son, Dwayne Imler (Desiree) of Alum Bank; son, Dwight Imler (Ashley) of Bedford; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Foor; and his beloved dog, Wolf. Friends will be received on Monday, November 29, 2021 at the Stone Funeral Home in Woodbury from 11:00AM - 1:00PM, with a Funeral Service immediately following. Interment will be private at Dry Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ronald’s name can be made to Stone Funeral Home & Cremation Services to assist the family with final expenses.
