Pearl Weaver Obituary

Pearl P. Weaver, 92, of Martinsburg, formerly of Saxton, passed away on December 31, 2020 at the Village at Morrisons Cove. She was born on October 20, 1928 in Mench, daughter of the late Frank and Annie (Williams) Long. On June 18, 1949 in Cumberland, she was united in marriage to Donald E. Weaver; he preceded her in death on December 23, 2011. Pearl was a Class of 1947 graduate of Saxton Liberty High School. She was a member of the Raven Run Church of the Brethren but most recently attended the Beavertown Church of God. Pearl was a kind and generous woman who put others before herself. She loved reading her bible and lived a good life. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband Donald as well as 19 siblings. Surviving are son Brian E. Weaver and companion Rachel Nanette of Saxton; son Barry D. Weaver and wife Anna (Miller) Weaver of Saxton; three grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Due to COVID-19, services will be held privately. Interment will be in Grand View Cemetery, Saxton. If so desired, Memorial Contributions in Pearl’s name can be made to the Charity of your choice.
