Nellie Jane (Frederick) Suter

Nellie Jane Suter, 87, of Woodbury, formerly of Curryville, passed away on May 8, 2021 at home. She was born on March 31, 1934 in Frosty Hollow; daughter of the late Daniel I. and M. Lenore (Johnson) Frederick. On May 6, 1961 at the Martinsburg Church of God Parsonage, she was united in marriage to Joseph B. Suter; he preceded her in death on September 4, 2015. Nellie was a graduate of the Woodbury Joint High School and attended the Altoona School of Commerce. She was a member of the Woodbury Church of God and attended Pennwood Bible Church in Everett. Nellie enjoyed bible devotions, word searches, and spending time with her family. Surviving is son Brian Suter of Woodbury; son Kevin Suter and wife Melissa of Loysburg; grandchildren Shane and wife Lindsay, Joel, Emma, Justice, Jase, and Jackson; and great-grandchildren Aubrey, Whitney, and Summer. Friends will be received on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 10:00AM to the 11:00AM Funeral Service at the Stone Funeral Home in Woodbury. Interment will be in Dry Hill Cemetery.
