Nancy Jane (Reighard) Replogle

Nancy Jane Replogle, 85, of Harrington, DE, passed away on January 20, 2022 at Westminster Village in Dover, DE. She was born on October 21, 1936 in New Enterprise; daughter of the late Truster and Vera Fern (Replogle) Reighard. On November 10, 1957 at the Waterside Church of the Brethren, she was united in marriage to Ralph Curtis Replogle. He preceded her in death on October 18, 1999. Nancy was baptized on April 11, 1949 in the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren and was a member of the Waterside Church of the Brethren. She was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, where she was well known across the United States and Internationally. Nancy had an infectious smile and warmed many hearts. She always thought of others first and would give you the shirt off her back or her last dollar. She was an animal lover, especially her horses and dogs. Throughout the years, Nancy worked as a seamstress, butcher, cook, and waitress and enjoyed helping Rhonda Replogle Show Horses. She was preceded in death by brothers Earl, Charles, Ray, and Fred Reighard; and sisters Fern Shoemaker and Ruth Disbrow. Surviving is daughter Rhonda Replogle as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 10:00AM until the 12:00PM funeral service at the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren. Pastor Paul Snyder will be officiating. Interment will be in Replogle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Nancy’s memory to the Professional Horseman Endowment.  This organization helps in supporting professionals in crisis.
