Meredith Arlene (Imler) Erb

Meredith Arlene Erb, 91, of Martinsburg, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2022. She was born February 23, 1930; daughter of the late Jesse W. and Mae (Kagarise) Imler. Her husband, Chester Roy “Chet” Erb, preceded her in death on December 11, 2015; they were married on January 23, 1948. Meredith was a loyal, long-time member of the Woodbury Church of the Brethren, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She loved tending to her large vegetable garden during her years on the Erb Farm. Later, Meredith enjoyed growing flowers on Nason Drive, Roaring Spring, where she and husband resided after he retired from farming. Surviving are daughter, Linda Killian (Lou); son, George J. Erb (Rebecca); 4 grandchildren, Scott Killian, Keith Killian, Jonathan Erb, and Rachel Jones; as well as 8 great-grandchildren who will remember her always as their beloved, “Nana”. Friends will be received on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 9:00AM until the 11:00AM funeral service at the Woodbury Church of the Brethren; Pastor David Ulm will be officiating. Interment will be in Dry Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Meredith’s name can be made to the Woodbury Church of the Brethren.
