Marian Miller Obituary

Marian K. Miller, 95, passed on to be with her Jesus, at her home on April 8, 2021. She was born in Loysburg on May 14, 1925 to Jack and Pauline (Bayer) Kagarise. On April 12, 1944 in New Enterprise, she married Jacob Miller. He preceded her in death in November 2013 along with brother Joe and sister Barbara (Kagarise) Robison. Marian was wonderfully devoted to her family. Her best friend and daughter Susanne Marchi, husband Fred of Hollidaysburg; sons, Thom and wife Donna (Lage), Steve and Kathy (Ringler), and Brice and Lisa (Schaeffer), all of Woodbury. She was a loving grandmother to Kristen and Joe Rulewich, Eric and Amy (Metzler) Miller, Lucas and Jennie (Hershberger) Miller, and Abby and Brody Reininger. Her special joys were her nine great-grandchildren; J.T. and Kamryn Rulewich, Reese and Quinn Miller, Carson, Brynn, and Lily Miller, and Kitt and Nash Reininger. Marian was a member of the Woodbury Church of the Brethren and a class of 1943 graduate of Replogle High School. She loved her Jesus and enjoyed reading her bible as she sat at her favorite window and shared that love with those who would walk by. She was a devoted prayer warrior, praying for those she knew and loved. Marian was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. Sunday and Holiday dinners were special and in later years she enjoyed taking them out to lunch. So, as you remember Marian, instead of flowers, pay it forward and take someone to lunch or donate to her church. In keeping with her nature, Funeral Services will be private for the immediate family only. Services will be officiated by Pastors David Ulm and Larry Graybill. Burial will be at Dry Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Weaver Funeral Home, LLC (weaversfh.com); Woodbury.
