Lois Jean Swartz (Miller), 94, of Hollidaysburg, passed away on October 15, 2020 at the Altoona Center for Nursing Care. She was born on June 19, 1926 in Altoona; daughter of the late Henry and Mary Ruth (Brown) Miller. On January 1, 1958 in Altoona, she was united in marriage to Ralph E. Swartz; he preceded her in death on April 7, 2015. Jean enjoyed summers at the Roxbury Holiness Camp, arts and crafts, cats, and spending time with her great-grandchildren. She was involved with the Sonshine Joy Club, was a room mother at the Pleasant Valley Elementary School, and a member of the Holy Fire Chapel in Roaring Spring. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Ralph, a sister Leah, and a brother Charles. Surviving are son Ronald Swartz (Marietta) of New Bloomfield; son Donald Swartz (Deborah) of Hollidaysburg; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 10:00-11:00AM. At 11:00AM, a Funeral Service will take place with Pastor Charles J. Brewbaker officiating. All of the above will be held at the Weaver Funeral Home in Woodbury. Interment will be in Keagy Cemetery.
