Lois J. Nissley, 87, of Martinsburg, formerly of Woodbury, passed away on August 4, 2021 at Homewood in Martinsburg. She was born on June 5, 1934 in Woodbury; daughter of the late Conda and Leta (Stewart) Miller. On September 18, 1954, she was united in marriage to Jay Nissley; he preceded her in death on October 28, 2011. Lois was a Class of 1953 graduate of Woodbury High School; member of the Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church; and member of the Berachah Sunday School Class. She enjoyed sewing and reading. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Jay; daughter Ruth Stern; and siblings Jake, John, George, Amos, Harry, Earl, Glenn, and Anna Miller, and Ruth Kenyon. Surviving is son Douglas Nissley (Loretta) of Elizabethtown, PA; grandchildren Letta Snowberger (Tom), Aaron Stern (Shana), Larissa Caporuscio (Kevin), Lynnae Krehl (Elliot), Brenton Nissley, Jaylene Price (Jared), Tyler Nissley, and Nathaniel Nissley (Jenna Heise); great-grandchildren Owen and Ean Snowberger, Dylan and Allison Stern, Tristin and Rydder Caporuscio, Bradley and Calvin Krehl, and Knox Price; as well as son-in-law Wayne Stern. Friends will be received on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 9:00-10:00AM. At 10:00AM, a funeral service will take place with Pastor Brian McCall officiating. All of the above will be held at the Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church (300 S. Mulberry St. Martinsburg, PA 16662). Interment will be in Replogle Cemetery, Woodbury.
