Eva Irene (Kitchen) Van Orman, 86, of Hollidaysburg, passed away on January 27, 2021 at her home. She was born on October 12, 1934 in Hollidaysburg; daughter of the late Milford and Violet (Garman) Kitchen. On February 5, 1954 in Winchester, VA, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Earl Van Orman. Eva was a member of the Juniata Valley Gospel Church and enjoyed camping, needlepoint, and the time she spent with family and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, sister, and two grandsons. Surviving is husband Kenneth; son Randy Van Orman and wife Kelly of Port Matilda; daughter LuAnn Criswell and husband Gary of Williamsburg; sister Peggy Sprow; as well as 8 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 6:00-8:00PM and Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 10:00-11:00AM. At 11:00AM Tuesday, a Funeral Service will take place with Pastor Bill Gualdoni officiating. All of the above will be held at the Juniata Valley Gospel Church; Lower Reese Rd., Hollidaysburg. We ask those in attendance to follow CDC guidelines by wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. Interment will be in Canoe Creek Cemetery.
