Debra L. Scott, 74, of Everett, passed away on November 11, 2023 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. She was born on November 27, 1948 in Roaring Spring; daughter of the late Evelyn (Brubaker) Frederick. On June 14, 1969 at the Woodbury Church of the Brethren, she was united in marriage to David E. Scott, who survives.
Deb was a Northern Bedford Class of 1966 graduate and worked as an Office Clerk at Shawnee State Park for many years. She was a member of the Everett Lioness Club and the Woodbury Church of the Brethren. Deb enjoyed crocheting, football and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Above all, she enjoyed the time she spent making memories with her four grandchildren.
Debra was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Kenton Frederick and a sister, Leota Stepisianos. Surviving is her husband, David; daughter, Dawn Lecker (husband, Brady) of Oakdale; daughter, Denise Brady (husband, Charles “Ed”) of Everett; grandchildren, Kalen and Isabelle Brady and Ian and Riley Lecker; and brothers, Rev. Terry Frederick (wife, Barbara) and Larry “Bill” Frederick (wife, Janet).
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 11:00AM at the Stone Funeral Home in Woodbury with Pastor Patrick Traxler officiating.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Stone Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 10:00AM until the hour of service.
Interment will be in Dry Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Debra’s name can be made to the Bedford County Pink Ribbon Fund or the National Kidney Foundation.
