Cynthia Ann (Snyder) Dodson

     Cynthia Ann (Snyder) Dodson, 59, of Hopewell, passed away on March 29, 2023 at home. She was born on January 29, 1964 in Altoona; daughter of the late Robert Snyder and Jim and Alice Foor.  On August 3, 2001, she was united in marriage to Richard Dodson Jr., who survives.

     Cynthia was a graduate of Northern Bedford High School. She worked as a cashier at the Defiance Station and drove school bus.

     Cynthia enjoyed crafting, watching the ID Channel, collecting bears, camping, spending time with her grandchildren, watching her grandson race dirt bike, her dogs (Dolly and Daisy), and cat (Puttytat).

     She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jessica and a sister, Brenda.

     Surviving is her husband, Richard Dodson Jr.; son Allan Dean Covert Jr. (Jamie) of Riddlesburg; grandchildren, Skylar, Kaylee, and Kaiden; great-granddaughter, Rylee; siblings, Steve Snyder, Edward Snyder (Janet), Bobby Snyder, Shane Foor (Jenny), Tony Foor (Pam), Dan Foor, LeeAnn Foor (Brennan), and Chris Neil (Bruce); and in-laws, Barry and Saundra (Scott) Thomas.

     At request of the deceased, no services will be held.

     Memorial Contributions in Cynthia’s name can be made to Stone Funeral Home to help the family with final expenses.
